The Power Of Prayer

Have all your prayers answered, whether you believe in a higher being or not.

Consider two people praying for a mutual friend to recover from an illness. One might fervently pray, "God, please save my friend from this terrible illness that, according to my research, kills thousands of people every year in the prime of their lives. Please don't let this dreadful disease take my friend like it does so many others."

Meanwhile, the other person might simply envision himself enjoying happy moments with the friend, feeling grateful for the friend's recovery. This illustrates different approaches to prayer and faith but demonstrates that both can be powerful and effective.
